Job Responsibilities |
* BRAC Health Programme is currently implementing Mental Health pilot projects to address mental health issues at the community level in collaboration with the National Control Disease Center (NCDC) and the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). BRAC will integrate mental health services with non-communicable disease (NCD) services through its community health workers (Shasthyo Kormi). * KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct training sessions on mental health services and counseling skills for SK and paramedics. * Develop frontliners (SK/paramedics) into mental health paraprofessionals through continuous coaching and supervision. * Monitor and follow up on psychosocial support sessions and reporting by field staff. * Deliver Psychological First Aid (PFA) and counseling during emergencies. * Coordinate with stakeholders to strengthen referral systems, including tertiary care. * Organize seminars, workshops, and training programs related to mental health services. * Receive the clinical supervision from mental health managers and other consultants of BHP· * Support the development of training materials, curricula, and reports. * Conduct field visits, monitor activities, and provide on-job guidance also collaborate with other BRAC programs as needed. * Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. * SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. * Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. * Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so. |

Additional Requirements |
Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, or Organizational Psychology with training in evidence-based mental health. Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field· Expertise in counseling, training, coordination, and safeguarding. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work in culturally sensitive environments. |
