| * Teesta University, Rangpur is looking for a Professor / Associate Professor for the following departments: * Physiology/Pharmacology * Anatomy/Histology * Genetics & Plant Breeding * Agricultural Extension Education * Entomology * Horticulture * EEE * BMB * The job responsibilities are as follows: * To participate actively in teaching using innovative pedagogical styles linked with information technology. * To take responsibility for developing and delivering learning, teaching materials, and assessment. * To ensure students have an effective learning experience by providing high-quality academic guidance. * To undertake professional development in support of teaching and applied research, and if appropriate in support of student welfare and curriculum management. * To perform any other duties assigned by the University Authority. |

| Age 35 to 75 years Associate Professor: For educational requirement (A), the candidate must have seven (7) years of teaching experience, four (4) years as Assistant Professor, with at least six (6) publications to his/her credit of which three (3) as Assistant Professor. -OR- For educational requirement (B), the candidate must have nine (9) years of teaching experience, six (6) years as Assistant Professor, with at least six (6) publications to his/her credit of which three (3) as Assistant Professor. -OR- For educational requirement (C), the candidate must have twelve (12) years of teaching experience, seven (7) years as Assistant Professor, with at least six (6) publications to his/her credit of which three (3) as Assistant Professor. Professor: For educational requirement (A), the candidate must have twelve (12) years of teaching experience, five (5) years as Associate Professor, with at least twelve (12) publications to his/her credit of which six (6) as Associate Professor. -OR- For educational requirement (B), the candidate must have seventeen (17) years of teaching experience, seven (7) years as Associate Professor, with at least twelve (12) publications to his/her credit of which six (6) as Associate Professor. -OR- For educational requirement (C), the candidate must have twenty-two (22) years of teaching experience, ten (10) years as Associate Professor, with at least twelve (12) publications to his/her credit of which six (6) as Associate Professor. Currently employed candidates must provide No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their place of work. |
