Job Responsibilities |
* The Welfare Officer shall ensure all welfare activities are conducted in accordance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Labor Rules, and the Company’s Policy & Procedures. * Maintain effective communication & liaison between workers and management. * The officer should live close to the factory to make communication easier and quicker to stay connected and respond faster. * The officer must possess strong announcement skills, proficient typing ability in both Bangla and English, and maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance. * The Welfare Officer should counsel workers and staff to reduce absenteeism & turnover, late coming, and promote active involvement in the work environment. * They will also address workplace issues to improve morale, productivity, and overall employee well-being. They shall also conduct daily floor visits to monitor housekeeping standards, identify compliance-related issues, and assess general workplace conditions. * During these visits, the officer is expected to interact with employees, listen to concerns, and take prompt action or escalate matters as needed. * Regular reporting and coordination with relevant departments shall be maintained to ensure timely resolution of welfare and compliance matters like especially housekeeping, admin & compliance issues * The officer must also ensure and look after the provisions of essential amenities, such as canteen facilities, dining’s, adequate latrines and safe drinking water. |
