| * A "Head of Fashion Designer and Marketing" is a leadership role that combines the creative responsibilities of a head designer with the strategic oversight of a marketing director. This person typically manages both the design team and the marketing team, ensuring that the brand's aesthetic and message align with its business goals. * Responsibilities: * Design Leadership: * Establishes and oversees the design process, ensuring efficiency and quality. * Develops the overall design strategy and vision for the brand. * Manages and motivates the design team, providing guidance and support. * Ensures that designs align with the brand's values and target audience. * May be involved in developing product specifications and tech packs. * Develop collections based on current fashion trends, customer preferences, and market demands of local life style. * Oversee the creation of samples, ensuring accuracy in design, fit, and quality. * Stay updated on the latest fashion trends and conduct market research to provide insights for future collections. * Participate in fashion events, runway shows, and exhibitions to showcase the brand's collections and strengthen industry relationships. * Discuss design concepts with team members and communicate effectively with sales and management leaders, as well as clients. * Marketing Leadership: * Develops and implements the overall marketing strategy for the brand. * May be involved in market research and trend analysis. * Oversees the creation and execution of marketing campaigns. * Manages the marketing team and budget. * Works closely with sales and retail teams to ensure effective product placement and promotion. * Strategic Planning: * Identifies market trends and opportunities. * Develops and implements strategies for brand growth and expansion. * May be involved in product development and pricing decisions. |
