| * Context: * Sunwe Footwear Limited, is a 100% export-oriented China-Bangladesh Joint Ventured company located in Bangladesh with a view to manufacturing of PU/synthetic/non-leather shoes for gents and ladies and exporting those to abroad. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive for Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting. * Job Responsibilities: * Financial Management * Keeping record of day-to-day financial activities; * Preparing & examining bills/invoices, vouchers accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations; * Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow). * Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes. * Compliance & Reporting * Maintain compliance with statutory requirements (Tax, VAT); * Assist in internal/external audits and tax filings; * Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance reports; * Process Improvement * Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes. * Implement best practices for financial controls and documentation. * Collaboration * Liaise with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Procurement) for financial data validation. * Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects. |
