Job Responsibilities
* Job Context:

* DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED) (an institution of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, MRA license-00109-02243-00747) is working to enhance the socio-economic condition of poor people for creating their employment opportunities, raising income and increasing their asset and financial resources. DFED is currently looking for competent and experienced Coordinator for Field Monitoring. The purpose of the job is to ensure mitigating the risk of the organization at minimum level. Coordinator (Monitoring) involves developing and implementing monitoring systems and tools of the organization that staffs are working effectively and efficiently. The personnel are required to successfully carry out the field monitoring related functions. This position emphasizes the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to provide insights for informed decision-making under field operation department.

* Job Location:

* Head Office, DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED), Adabar , Dhaka with frequent travel to outside Dhaka as per organizational requirements.

* Job Responsibilities:

* Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) System Development:

* Designing and implementing M&E frameworks at DFED investment program.

* Having proper understanding of sampling and process monitoring.

* Developing overdue collection tools, techniques and methodologies.

* Establishing objectively verifiable performance indicators.

* Risk Management:

* Monitoring loan portfolio’s utilization to identify potential risks, such as high default rates or client over-indebtedness.

* Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

* Develop on-site and off-site monitoring parameters to gather authentic data/information.

* Field Operations Monitoring:

* Conducting regular field visits to monitor program implementation and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.

* Providing continious support and guidance to field staff.

* Gathering feedback from clients, stakeholders and field staff to improve program effectiveness.

* Impact Assessment:

* Designing methodologies and conducting impact assessments to evaluate the long-term effects of Investment programs on clients and their communities.

* Analyzing data to measure the socio-economic impact of programs.

* Staff Training and Development:

* Providing training and support to field staff on data collection, on-site and off-site monitoring procedures, and reporting requirements.

* Building the capacity of the monitoring team.

* Specific Microfinance Considerations:

* Performance Monitoring: In microfinance, monitoring goes beyond financial performance. It includes assessing social impact, such as improvements in clients' living standards, empowerment of women, and social inclusion.

* Client Protection: Monitoring client protection principles, ensuring fair treatment of clients, and preventing over-indebtedness.

* Poverty Measurement: Utilizing appropriate methodologies to measure poverty levels and track changes in clients' economic status.

* Reporting:

* Prepare regular monitoring reports (weekly/monthly/quartely).

* Sharing reports to all stakeholders and follow up for corrective measures.

* Prepare comparison report of progress and maintain a database.

Additional Requirements
Age at most 50 years Age: Age limit up to 50 years. [Age limit will be relaxed for more qualified candidate]. Experience Requirements: Total 10 years of experience in Coordinator (Monitoring) or Senior Position with progressive leadership responsibilities with 05 years of working experience at microfinance sector. Additional Requirements: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards. Computer skills on Microsoft office applications are mandatory. Spoken and writing skills both in English and Bengali. Modern System adaptability & Creativity. Excellent interpersonal /self-motivational and team work skills.
