Job Responsibilities |
* Key Responsibilities * · Beverage Preparation: * Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other specialty drinks. * Ensure all drinks meet quality and presentation standards. * Customize drinks based on guest preferences, including milk alternatives or adjustments to sweetness or strength. * · Customer Service: * Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner. * Take customer orders and provide drink recommendations based on preferences. * Ensure a positive customer experience by providing attentive, personalized service. * Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction. * · Cash Handling and Transactions: * Accurately process customer orders and payments, including handling cash, credit/debit card transactions, or mobile payments. * Provide accurate change and receipts, following company cash handling procedures. * · Inventory and Stock Management: * Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. * Notify supervisors when stock is low or needs replenishing. * Assist with restocking and organizing supplies to maintain efficient workflow. * · Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: * Keep the coffee station, work areas, and seating areas clean, organized, and well-maintained. * Clean coffee machines, grinders, counters, and utensils regularly, ensuring all equipment is in working order. * Follow all hygiene and safety regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment for staff and guests. * · Compliance and Safety: * Follow all company policies, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines while preparing beverages. * Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverage products according to health and safety regulations. * Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor. * · Team Collaboration: * Work closely with other baristas, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. * Assist teammates when necessary, especially during peak hours, to maintain service efficiency. * · Quality Control: * Consistently check the quality of beverages, ensuring they meet both company standards and customer expectations. * Monitor and maintain the freshness of ingredients like coffee beans, milk, and syrups. |
