| * Green University of Bangladesh is one of the leading universities in the private sector. We are looking for a Junior Library Officer for the Library of the Green University of Bangladesh. We encourage individuals who are dedicated to working honestly and building a career in academic administration. * Provide circulation and reference services, assisting users with effective searches using the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC), online databases, and journals. * Respond to ready-reference, directional, and other library inquiries. * Catalogue print and digital materials following international standards such as MARC 21 and AACR2, utilising the Integrated Library System (ILS) Koha; update and edit existing catalogue records as needed. * Conduct training sessions on using online catalogues, discovery tools, institutional repositories, databases, and online journals, including strategies for effective searching. * Install, maintain, and update library software and websites. * Perform additional tasks as assigned by the authority. |

| Proficient in integrated library systems, electronic resources, databases, and knowledge management techniques. Familiarity with modern library technologies and their practical applications. Strong internet browsing and research skills. Collaborative mindset and ability to work on a rotational shift basis. Goal-oriented with a focus on task completion. Effective communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with updated Windows platforms. Expertise in cataloguing and classifying materials using Library of Congress Subject Headings and the Dewey Decimal Classification system. Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning. |
