Job Context |
Job Responsibilities |
* Location: Head Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh * Responsibilities & Key Tasks Sourcing & Vendor Management * Explore local and international markets for potential vendors and proceed with enlistment * Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors to develop cost-effective and innovative procurement strategies * Conduct negotiations with shortlisted suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms * Lead the RFT/RFQ/RFP process and supplier selection aligned with approved budgets * Prepare and review bid summaries, including comparative evaluations on lead time, warranty, payment terms, and stock availability * Procurement Operations * Generate and manage Purchase Orders (PO) with necessary approvals, and follow up with suppliers until delivery * Prepare landed costing for import products * Prepare and submit LC documentation to banks * Maintain communication with internal departments regarding: * LC & order status * Shipment and vessel tracking * Customs process coordination * Delivery planning based on inventory * Coordination & Communication * Maintain regular contact with: * Banks * Shipping Companies * Freight Forwarders * C&F Agents * Port & Customs Authorities * Government officials * Ensure smooth and compliant commercial operations * Risk Management & Compliance * Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain (disruptions, supplier defaults, pricing volatility) * Create contingency plans for critical material shortages or delays * Ensure all procurement activities comply with local laws and building codes * Maintain accurate documentation for contracts, deliveries, and approvals * Cross-Department Collaboration * Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and site teams * Align supply chain schedules with overall project plans and timelines |

Age 30 to 40 years Experience Requirements Minimum 8–10 years of experience Relevant experience in the real estate development sector Experience working with: Bond License, Customs, C&F, Shipping Lines Bank Correspondence and Statutory Authorities Other Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure Must be a user of ERP software for supply chain and procurement tracking Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Additional Requirements Excellent negotiation and communication skills Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively Effective time-management and organizational capabilities Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel & Google Spreadsheet Procurement-related software Must have experience using ERP software Must be open to perform any other tasks as assigned by management |
